If you value your credit score DO NOT JOIN THIS GYM unless they accept cash payments only without a credit card on file! Their ridiculous business practices make it hard to leave the gym for any reason.
They asked for cancellation in writing when i moved so i wrote something up and handed it to the desk. Over a yr later i had to pay over $200 to a collection agency since they never canceled my account.
I wanted to go ahead and give 5 stars because I signed up today and came in and there was a girl with a long dark pony tail and glasses at the counter and she was so nice and helpful. First impressions are everything. Excited to get going. (Space did seem crowded by a lot of things, but I won’t let that affect my judgement)
I'm being generous by giving this dump of a gym 1 star because it deserves zero. Prepare to encounter horrible staff, old and broken equipment, and smelly locker rooms. Don't believe it? Just look at all the Yelp reviews. A lot of people are aware of these scumbags who run this place. AVOID THIS GYM AT ALL COSTS!
Cons: Unfair business practices, uncaring people that have no qualms about seeing you suffer financially if you're not willing to fork over money for services not rendered. If you need to quit the gym for any reason (death in the family, car stolen, moving out of state), it's going to cost you!
Pros: Nice equipment
They essentially want 2 months notice, aka 2 months worth of service they know they aren't even rendering since you decided to quit and aren't going to show up for. If you don't pay it they report you to all the credit bureaus for nonpayment and attack your credit score. And it's all okay because you signed a contract!
Bad gym. Not enough space. Too crowded. Do not recommend.
If I go to a doctor's office and don't like it, I can leave and go elsewhere, the doctor doesn't say I have to first pay for two more visits that I won't even be going to first.
